Kayveas: Protest is against MIC

SUNGAI PETANI: The recent protest by Indians was not against the Government but MIC, said PPP president Datuk M. Kayveas.

He said the Hindraf protest on Nov 25 was done because the party had failed in its duties and commitments towards the Indian community.

“Has the Government done enough for the Indian community? Some would say yes while some would say no. But MIC is answerable to both the groups,” he said.

Kayveas was speaking at the Sri Subramaniam Temple Hall in Jalan Kuala Ketil during the presentation of cash and books to 50 pupils in Kedah who scored 7As in the recent UPSR examination here yesterday.
